The Firm collects personal data in the following cases:

2.1 Quotation Request Form

When you fill out the quote request form on the Website, the following data is collected:

• First name and surname
• Email address
• Phone number
• Postal address or project location (if applicable)
• Project description and stated needs
• Any other information you choose to communicate in your message

Purpose to respond to your quotation request, establish a commercial proposal, discuss your construction or renovation project, and manage the contractual relationship that may arise from it.

Legal basis: pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Article 6.1.b of the GDPR).

2.2 Site Navigation

When you visit the Site, certain technical data may be collected automatically (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, visit duration) for audience measurement and Site improvement purposes.

Legal basis: The Firm's legitimate interest in analysing the performance of its Website (Article 6.1.f of GDPR), subject to your prior consent for non-essential cookies.

3. Recipients of Data

Your personal data is intended exclusively for authorised staff of Cabinet Jacquet & Meermans for the purpose of processing your request.

No data is assigned, sold or rented to third parties for commercial purposes.

However, certain technical providers may have access to data within the strict confines of their services:

• Site host: INFOMANIAK NETWORK SA (Switzerland), for the technical hosting of the Site and its databases
• Courier service Google LLC (Gmail), for receiving quote request emails

These providers are contractually obliged to respect data confidentiality and security.

4. Transfers of data outside the European Union

The Site's host, INFOMANIAK NETWORK SA, is a company under Swiss law whose servers are located in Switzerland. Switzerland benefits from a adequacy decision of the European Commission (Decision 2000/518/EC of 26 July 2000), which recognises a level of personal data protection equivalent to that of the European Union. As such, hosting data in Switzerland does not require additional transfer safeguards.

The Gmail messaging service (Google LLC) is subject to the framework Data Privacy Framework (DPF) between the European Union and the United States, validated by the European Commission's adequacy decision of 10 July 2023.

5. Shelf life

The data collected via the quote request form is retained:

• 3 years from last contact with you, if no contractual relationship has been entered into
• 10 years from the end of the contractual relationship, in the event that a project management contract has been signed (legal retention period for accounting and contractual documents - Article L.123-22 of the French Commercial Code)

Navigation data is retained for a maximum of 13 months.

6. Data Security

The Firm implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure or unauthorised access, in accordance with Article 32 of the GDPR.

These measures include, in particular: encrypted HTTPS connections, data access restricted to authorised personnel, regular backups, strong passwords, and security updates.

7. Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights over your personal data at any time:

• Right of access to obtain confirmation that your data is being processed and to obtain a copy thereof
• Right of rectification to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected
